Included for up to 10 mailboxes
Included when migrating 10 or fewer email accounts.
10 minutes to 1 hour
Duration depends on the number of emails and folders.
SMTP port must be open
Your current provider must allow SMTP (and IMAP) access for migration.
What you need for migration
To move your email from another service to Pifera, the SMTP port (and typically IMAP for reading your existing mail) must be open and allowed by your current provider. Not all providers enable this on basic plans—see the table below for compatibility.
Providers that support SMTP / IMAP for migration
Below are common email services and whether they allow SMTP (and IMAP) access. Migration to Pifera is possible when your provider allows these protocols.
| Provider | SMTP / IMAP access | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Gmail | Yes | Enable IMAP in Gmail settings; use App Password if 2FA is on. Ports 587 (SMTP), 993 (IMAP). |
| Outlook / Microsoft 365 | Yes (Outlook.com) | IMAP/SMTP available; app password may be required. Port 587 (SMTP), 993 (IMAP). |
| Yahoo Mail | Yes (with app password) | Generate app password in Yahoo account security. SMTP/IMAP supported. |
| Zoho Mail | Paid plans only | Basic plan: web access only (no IMAP/SMTP). Upgrade to a paid plan to enable IMAP/SMTP for migration. |
| iCloud Mail | Yes (with app-specific password) | Enable in iCloud account; use app-specific password. Port 587 (SMTP), 993 (IMAP). |
| Other providers (GoDaddy, etc.) | Varies | Check your provider’s admin or help docs for IMAP/SMTP availability and ports. |
